We are currently recruiting Full Time SEN Learning Support Workers to join our Team at Regent College. Regent College is part of National Care Group. We provide specialist education to young people aged 16 to 25. As a small independent college, we develop bespoke study programmes that promote independence support individual goals. We support young adults with learning disabilities, autism, challenging behaviours and complex needs. At Regent college the majority of learning takes place in the local community. Learners have the opportunity to volunteer or take part in work placements which allows them to develop important skills for the world of work. We are proud of our wonderful learners and amazing team as we continue to work together to achieve great outcomes. Job Responsibility:
Empower learners to develop vocational, social and independent life skills
Support young adults with learning disabilities, autism, challenging behaviours and complex needs
Enable and support people to achieve great things
Support learners in the local community, including during volunteer or work placements
Requirements:
A caring attitude, with a passion for supporting others and a motivation to see them achieve goals
A team player, able to work effectively with other colleagues
Resilience to keep going at difficult times and the confidence to ask for support if needed
Excellent listening and communication skills
Level 2 English & Maths is preferred but not required – willingness to progress or work towards Level 2
A full UK driving license is required
