Job Description:

Randstad is currently recruiting a committed SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term placement within a supportive Liverpool-based school. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise and enthusiasm to an environment where every student is encouraged to flourish.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering bespoke assistance to pupils individually or in small clusters
  • Partnering with teaching staff to execute tailored Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
  • Helping to maintain a calm, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment through effective behaviour management
  • Assisting with the creation of learning resources and monitoring student development
  • Serving as a positive role model, guiding students as they reach their personal and academic milestones

Requirements:

  • A minimum of six months working in a similar capacity within a UK educational setting
  • A calm, kind, and energetic nature suited to supporting young people with diverse needs
  • The ability to liaise professionally and warmly with colleagues, students, and families
  • Top-tier organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to undergo a new check
