Job Description:

Join our Partnered Schools Team as a SEN Learning Support Assistant and make a lasting difference in the lives of children with complex needs. We are currently recruiting for part time and full time SEN Learning Support Assistants to work in our Outstanding Ofsted partnered school, supporting children with severe and profound disabilities in the Fishponds area. You’ll play a vital role in helping students thrive during their foundation years and beyond. We’re looking for individuals who are resilient, compassionate, and eager to make a difference. Whether you’re experienced or new to the field, we offer a comprehensive induction and ongoing training to help you succeed.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting children with severe and profound disabilities
  • Helping students thrive during their foundation years and beyond
  • Supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Complex Needs

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role or with individuals with disabilities (desirable)
  • Confident working with challenging behaviour
  • Can provide 1:1 or 2:1 support tailored to individual needs
  • Demonstrates strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Happy with personal care
  • Is proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic
  • Is committed to inclusion and continuous learning
