Job Description:

Randstad Education is seeking a 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a Liverpool-based SEN school. This is a full-time position during school term, with a strong chance of a permanent offer for the right candidate. You'll be providing individualised support for a student with complex educational and developmental needs such as SLD, ASD, and ADHD.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver 1:1 support tailored to the child's EHCP
  • Encourage engagement and active learning
  • Collaborate with teachers and SEN specialists
  • Use the P Scales curriculum as a guide
  • Support pupils with a range of SEN and physical disabilities
  • Display compassion, resilience, and reliability

Requirements:

  • An Enhanced DBS (Child and Adult) or willingness to obtain one
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in UK schools
  • Prior experience in SEN settings is advantageous
  • Commitment to a full-time role across the academic week
  • Strong professional references
  • Legal right to work in the UK
