Job Description:

Justteachers is seeking a supportive SEN Learning Mentor to join a welcoming school in Towcester. This full-time position begins September 2026 and runs until July 2027. The role focuses on supporting pupils with additional needs to achieve both academically and socially.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide one-to-one mentoring for pupils with SEN
  • Support emotional wellbeing and confidence building
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCO to implement support plans
  • Encourage engagement in classroom activities
  • Monitor and report on student progress

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN
  • Patient and encouraging attitude
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
  • Two recent professional references
