Bath College is seeking to appoint dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Staff to join our inclusive and learner-focused support team. As a member of the Learning Support team, you will provide high-quality support based on an empowering and enabling model of practice. You will work alongside learners, curriculum staff and wider support teams to remove barriers to learning, promote independence and help learners participate fully in college life.
Job Responsibility:
provide effective support to learners with additional needs in lessons and across the wider college environment
promote learner independence, confidence, engagement and achievement
enable learners to develop strategies and skills that support participation and long-term success
work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams to implement appropriate support approaches
contribute to a positive, inclusive and aspirational learning environment
support learner wellbeing and uphold safeguarding responsibilities at all times
maintain appropriate records and contribute to reviews of learner progress and support arrangements
