Immediate Start: SEN HLTA - Liverpool. Do you have the confidence to lead a class and the patience to support 1:1? Are you an HLTA who sees the potential in every child, no matter the challenge? If the answer is YES, you're exactly who we're looking for! We are currently seeking a high-energy, dedicated HLTA to join a fantastic SEN school right here in Liverpool.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and deliver pre-prepared lessons and learning activities to whole classes or small groups in the absence of the teacher
  • Provide targeted 1:1 and small group interventions for students with Education, Health, and Care Plans
  • Implement positive behaviour strategies and foster a calm, safe, and stimulating learning environment
  • Work closely with the SENCO and Class Teachers to adapt the curriculum for students with diverse learning requirements
  • Assess and record pupil progress, providing vital feedback to staff and parents during review meetings

Requirements:

  • HLTA status, Level 4, or a very experienced Level 3 educator
  • Real-world experience in a specialist school or SEN provision
  • An Enhanced DBS (or the willingness to get one sorted today!)
