Job Description:

Justteachers is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for an SEN school in Wellingborough. This full-time role starts in September 2026 and runs until July 2027. You will support teaching staff and deliver interventions for pupils with additional learning needs across KS2 and KS3.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver targeted interventions and small group sessions
  • Provide classroom cover when required
  • Support pupils with EHCP targets and learning outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and SENCOs
  • Promote positive behaviour and classroom engagement

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
  • Background working within SEN settings
  • Strong communication and classroom support skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
  • Two recent professional references
