Job Description:

Are you a dedicated and experienced SEN English Teacher seeking a new full-time, long-term opportunity in Liverpool? This role is for a compassionate educator ready to make a significant impact on the lives of students with special educational needs. Starting in September, this position offers the chance to join a supportive and inclusive school environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Adapt English teaching methods and utilise alternative literacy frameworks to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive
  • Build strong, professional relationships with students, parents, and fellow staff members
  • Manage the classroom effectively, ensuring a productive and respectful atmosphere

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar teaching role
  • Proven experience teaching students with various special educational needs, with a preference for experience in Autism, ADHD, Specific Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
  • An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • The legal right to work in the UK
