Job Description:

SEN English Teacher - Leading Knowsley School. Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher with a specialism in Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a leading school in Knowsley, known for its inclusive approach and supportive team environment. This is a full-time, long-term position with an immediate start.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated English lessons to students with diverse learning needs
Collaborate with support staff and parents to create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed to maximise student achievement

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Minimum of six months of experience teaching students with SEN
Experience with Autism, ADHD, SLD, and PMLD is highly desirable
An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to have:

Experience with Autism, ADHD, SLD, and PMLD is highly desirable
