Job Description:

Randstad Education is currently seeking an empathetic and skilled English Specialist with SEN experience for a rewarding long-term placement in Sefton. Job Responsibility:

  • Bespoke Lesson Delivery: Designing and leading interactive English sessions tailored to various learning styles and abilities
  • Curriculum Customisation: Utilising P Scales and modified frameworks to ensure every student can access and succeed in their education
  • Holistic Support: Cultivating a safe, encouraging space that priorities student mental health and personal growth
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Working hand-in-hand with support staff and therapists to provide a unified approach to student welfare
  • Dignified Care: Offering personal care assistance when required to ensure student comfort and safety

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Previous experience in a UK SEN classroom
  • Literacy in adaptive teaching methods and assessment tools for non-traditional learners
  • Exceptional patience, a collaborative spirit, and a "student-first" mindset
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to process a new one immediately)
