Job Description:

Are you a compassionate and skilled English educator with experience in Special Educational Needs? A full-time, long-term opportunity has opened up in Sefton for a SEN English Educator starting this September. This is a chance to join a supportive school environment and make a lasting impact on student's lives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Adapt English curriculum to suit the needs of students with diverse learning requirements
  • Implement alternative literacy frameworks to aid in student development
  • Foster a safe and inclusive classroom where all students feel valued
  • Build strong working relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Utilise excellent classroom management skills to ensure a productive learning atmosphere

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience is required
  • Experience supporting students with a range of special needs, including Autism, ADHD, SLD, and PMLD, is highly desirable
  • You must have an Enhanced DBS check or be willing to obtain one
  • You must hold the legal right to work in the UK
