Compassionate SEN English Educator - Sefton. Are you a devoted and skilled SEN English Educator ready for a new, full-time, long-term opportunity in Sefton? We have an exciting opening starting this September for a professional passionate about making a significant difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Adapting the English curriculum and teaching methods to cater to the unique needs of your students
  • Implementing and adjusting alternative literacy frameworks to facilitate student progress
  • Cultivating a secure, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Developing strong, positive relationships with students, their parents, and colleagues
  • Employing effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive and focused atmosphere

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Minimum of six months of relevant experience
  • Experience teaching students with special needs (Autism, ADHD, Specific Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)) is highly beneficial
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply for one
  • Legal right to work in the UK

Nice to have:

Experience teaching students with a variety of special needs, particularly Autism, ADHD, Specific Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
