Job Description:

Long-Term SEN Teacher Opportunity in Knowsley. Randstad Education is searching for a passionate and skilled Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to take on a full-time, long-term position in Knowsley. If you're ready to use your expertise to positively influence students with diverse learning needs, we encourage you to join our dedicated educational team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lesson Delivery: Planning and delivering highly differentiated and engaging lessons specifically designed for students with various special educational needs
  • Adaptation: Modifying learning materials and resources to ensure they are accessible to every student in your care
  • Evaluation: Implementing formal and informal assessment strategies, analysing student performance data, and using this analysis to inform your teaching
  • Collaboration: Working closely with teaching assistants, parents, and external specialists to provide comprehensive support
  • Class Management: Effectively managing classroom behaviour and fostering strong learning practices

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching a range of SEN students within the UK education system
  • A strong, current understanding of SEN policies, effective intervention strategies, and best practices
  • The ability to show resilience, patience, initiative, and strong leadership within the classroom
  • A clear Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one immediately)
