Job Description:

Justteachers is partnering with an Early Years SEN provision in Kettering seeking an Assistant to support children aged 3–5 with developmental delays and communication needs. The role begins after February half term and is full‑time and long‑term.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support early learning and play‑based activities
  • Assist with speech, language, and communication development
  • Use visuals, sensory play, and structured routines
  • Support behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Work closely with parents and therapists

Requirements:

  • Experience with Early Years or SEN
  • Understanding of child development
  • Warm, nurturing, and patient approach
  • Ability to follow routines and support communication strategies
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
  • Two references from the last 2 years
