Seeking SEN Classroom Support. Do you feel strongly about making a genuine, positive difference in the lives of children and young people who have Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Are you an experienced professional ready for a new challenge? We are actively seeking a compassionate and committed SEN Classroom Support specialist to offer personalised assistance and maximise student learning outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of stimulating lessons, adapting them for diverse learning needs
  • Helping students access the curriculum and develop crucial academic and life skills
  • Cultivating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that boosts confidence and encourages participation
  • Observing and documenting student progress, offering timely feedback and necessary interventions

Requirements:

  • Previous non-teaching support experience within a school environment
  • Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Experience operating in a school setting, including familiarity with personal care
  • Ability to maintain patience and a calm demeanor when working with students who have varied learning styles and behavioural needs
  • Must hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be prepared to apply for one immediately
  • Proof of your Right to Work in the UK
  • Immediate availability to start work
