Job Description:

Pink Tile Education is supporting a secondary school in the St Leonards area is seeking to appoint a highly skilled Temporary SEN Administration Officer to support a well-established and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) department. This role is suited to an experienced professional who can work confidently and independently in a fast-paced school environment. This is a temporary position, ideal for an experienced SEN administrator looking to make an immediate impact within a supportive school environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing high-level administrative support to the SEN department
  • Managing and maintaining SEN documentation, including EHCPs
  • Supporting statutory processes and deadlines
  • Attending and presenting information at panels and meetings when required
  • Working closely with internal and external professionals

Requirements:

  • Strong and up-to-date knowledge of SEN and statutory processes
  • Proven experience working with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
  • Confidence presenting to panels and professional meetings
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office packages
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience working within a secondary school or education setting
  • Experience supporting SEN teams or local authority processes
