Job Description:

The role is for a Semi Senior or Senior to join the Trusts & Estates team, acting for trustees, executors and beneficiaries, managing over 600 trusts and providing support across the full spectrum of estate and succession matters. It's a chance to broaden expertise, develop technical knowledge, and take on increasing responsibility in a supportive team.

Job Responsibility:

Managing a portfolio of trusts and/or estates, ensuring accurate and timely administration
Supporting junior members of the team
Preparing trust and estate accounts, income tax returns, inheritance tax forms and related calculations
Supporting executors with estate administration and probate requirements
Liaising with trustees, beneficiaries, solicitors and investment managers
Assisting senior colleagues with succession and estate planning projects
Providing clear, practical guidance to clients in a professional and empathetic manner

Requirements:

ATT or AAT qualified
2 to 3 years’ practice experience, preferably in trusts, estates or private client work
Confident and collaborative team player
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships
Strong attention to detail, discretion and a proactive approach

Nice to have:

Experience in tax, accounts or law
Eagerness to build a career in trusts and estates work
