Semh Teaching Assistants – Specialist Schools

• Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
• Assisting with learning and classroom activities
• Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
• Building trusting consistent relationships
• Helping create a safe structured learning environment

• No previous TA experience required
• Right to work in the UK or hold a valid work visa
• Provide suitable references for pre-employment checks
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Children’s Workforce (or Children’s & Adults’) update service, or be willing to obtain one

Transferable skills from care/support work, youth work, sports coaching, nursery/childcare, mental health/support roles, customer service roles requiring resilience patience and communication
