Job Description:

SEMH Teaching Assistant role in a vibrant, inclusive Secondary School in the Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. The role enables the successful candidate to access valuable training, teaching experience and the opportunity to work alongside a fantastic team. The right person for the position will be able to improve the academic experience and development of young people.

Job Responsibility:

Assisting teaching staff in the classroom with learning
Working closely with individual students and small groups with additional needs
Providing support to young people with SEND/SEMH needs to eliminate barriers within the curriculum and making learning more accessible

Requirements:

A degree-level qualification
Previous experience working with children, including those with SEND/SEMH needs
A desire to kickstart their career in teaching, educational psychology, mental health, special educational needs
