Make a Difference: SEMH Teaching Assistant - Join a Dynamic and Supportive Team. Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual with a passion for supporting young people with complex needs? Do you possess the resilience and strength to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment? Randstad Education is proud to be partnering with a leading Independent Special School that provides a unique and holistic approach to education for students ages 11-18 diagnosed with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, alongside autistic spectrum conditions or characteristics, including ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). We're looking for dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants who are ready to make a real difference in the lives of our students.

Job Responsibility:

Provide tailored support to students on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis
Foster positive relationships with students
Contribute to a unique learning environment
Work collaboratively with teachers and other specialists

Requirements:

Experience working with children and young people with emotional and behavioral challenges, ideally in a secondary school setting
Resilience and patience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive and enthusiastic attitude
A commitment to safeguarding
Physical fitness
Driving license (desirable)

Nice to have:

Driving license
