We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEMH Teacher to join our specialist provision in Worthing on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This rewarding role involves working with secondary-aged students who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and are working below age-related academic expectations. We are therefore looking for a teacher who can build strong relationships, maintain high expectations, and provide the consistency and encouragement needed to help every pupil succeed.

Requirements
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching secondary-aged students
Understands the needs of pupils with SEMH and additional barriers to learning
Can deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to a range of abilities
Has excellent behaviour management and relationship-building skills
Is patient, adaptable, and resilient
Is committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable learners
Works effectively within a multidisciplinary team
