We are currently recruiting a dedicated, passionate, and highly resilient SEMH Teacher for a rewarding full-time position starting in September 2026. This role is on a long-term basis with the genuine potential to transition into a permanent contract.
Job Responsibility
Planning and delivering an engaging, adapted curriculum that accommodates the specific SEMH and academic needs of your pupils
Implementing, tracking, and updating individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) to monitor small-step progress
Effectively deploying and managing classroom teaching assistants to ensure a safe and highly supportive learning environment
Acting as a positive role model and mentor, helping students build self-esteem, resilience, and emotional regulation skills
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS is mandatory
Proven experience teaching children with SEMH needs or complex behavioural challenges within the UK
An enhanced DBS on the update service, or a willingness to undergo a new check via Randstad
Full eligibility to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available)
