Job Description:

We are an independent specialist school in Bentley, Hampshire, committed to providing high-quality, therapeutic, and child-centred education for boys aged 11 to 17. Our students have a range of SEMH needs, and many also present with other Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties. We pride ourselves on a trauma and attachment-informed approach, ensuring all staff receive extensive therapeutic training and support to foster a nurturing and successful learning environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Inspire children, creating a sense of awe and wonder in your lessons, making subjects real and relevant
  • Plan and deliver exciting and engaging learning opportunities that challenge and push students
  • Manage complex and challenging behaviours with understanding and a non-judgemental approach
  • Contribute to the decision-making processes that drive our school forward, advocating for every child
  • Play an active role in developing both our academic curriculum and our extra-curricular offerings
