Job Description:

You will be responsible for delivering creative, individualised learning to a small group of primary-aged pupils in a nurturing and structured environment. You'll work closely with a dedicated team of teaching assistants, therapists, and behaviour specialists to support each child's academic progress and emotional wellbeing.

Job Responsibility:

Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to SEMH learners
Build trusting, positive relationships with pupils who may have complex emotional needs
Create a safe, structured classroom environment that promotes stability and engagement
Work collaboratively with support staff and external agencies
Develop and implement personalised education and behaviour support plans
Monitor progress and adapt strategies to meet individual needs
Support the development of pupils' social, communication, and life skills
Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding and child welfare

Requirements:

Eligibility to work in the UK
Child DBS on the update service
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with children with SEMH needs
A calm, patient, and trauma-informed approach to teaching
Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
A passion for inclusive education and commitment to supporting vulnerable learners
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
