Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and patient Primary Teacher to join a specialist SEMH school in Horsham.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs across the primary years
  • Delivering engaging lessons
  • Implementing strategies to support learning and behaviour
  • Ensuring a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Experience teaching children with SEMH needs or challenging behaviour
  • Ability to support social, emotional, and behavioural development
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
  • A calm, proactive, and empathetic approach
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Driver essential due to rural location
  • Right to work in the UK or hold a valid work visa
  • Provide suitable references for pre-employment checks
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the Children’s Workforce (or Children’s & Adults’) update service, or be willing to obtain one
