Job Description:

Are you passionate about supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are seeking a dedicated SEMH Teacher in the Hailsham area to work with Key Stage 3 students. This is a full-time role starting in January, offering the chance to make a real difference in students’ academic and personal development.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons and interventions for KS3 SEMH students
  • Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, SENCO, and external agencies
  • Track and report student progress
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment

Requirements:

  • QTS preferred but unqualified candidates with relevant experience are considered
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to motivate students
  • Passion for inclusion and student development
