Job Responsibility
Provide consistent, trauma-informed emotional and educational support, leading classroom activities and managing a small support team
Confidently de-escalate high-pressure situations and manage challenging behaviours with empathy and professional boundaries
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to maintain a secure, predictable, and nurturing learning environment
Assess, record, and promote student development and learning milestones
Deliver high-quality inclusive education as a superior practitioner
Apply relational strategies and trauma-informed behavioural support
Maintain an analytical approach to student data and reflective professional practice
Demonstrate dedication to student welfare, safeguarding, and achieving positive outcomes
Requirements
Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) with substantial background in SEN settings
6 months minimum experience in managing severe SEMH and complex behaviours
Emotionally resilient professional with a focused, composed temperament
Outstanding level of maturity and significant emotional resilience
Successful applicants must complete a comprehensive enhanced DBS check
