Job Description:

Justteachers is supporting a secondary SEMH provision in Daventry seeking a Pastoral Support Worker to start after February half term on a full‑time, long‑term basis.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide emotional and behavioural support
  • Deliver mentoring sessions and wellbeing interventions
  • Support attendance, engagement, and motivation
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils
  • Work with staff and external agencies

Requirements:

  • Experience with SEMH, mentoring, or youth work
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Resilient, empathetic, and consistent approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain)
  • Two references from the last 2 years
