Job Description

We are seeking a committed, resilient SEMH Mentor to join a specialist provision within the Cabot Learning Federation, supporting pupils who need strong relationships, consistency, and a trauma-informed approach to reach their potential. This is a highly rewarding role where your ability to build trust, remain calm, and model positive behaviour will have a lasting impact on pupils' lives.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group mentoring for pupils with SEMH needs
  • Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour and engagement throughout the school day
  • Implement trauma-informed, relational and restorative approaches
  • Act as a consistent, trusted adult for pupils who may struggle with boundaries and routine
  • Work collaboratively with teaching, pastoral and leadership teams
  • Support individual behaviour plans and contribute to positive outcomes
