Many of the young people you will work with have experienced significant barriers to mainstream education. The setting offers a structured, supportive and therapeutic approach designed to help students re engage with learning, build confidence and develop the skills they need for long term success. You will work across a range of environments including alternative provisions, community locations and outreach settings, making this a varied and active role where no two days are the same.

Job Responsibility

  • Support students to manage emotions using calm and structured approaches
  • Deliver targeted interventions focused on emotional wellbeing, resilience and life skills
  • De escalate challenging situations in a safe and confident way

  • Is flexible, proactive and comfortable working in a community based role
  • Has a genuine passion for supporting young people with social and emotional needs

What we offer

  • Work in a flexible and active role outside of a traditional classroom
  • Make a real impact on young people who need support the most
  • Be part of a supportive and experienced team
