Job Description:

Self-employed PA required for Worle area of Weston-super-mare. I live at home with my parents who are my full time carers. I need someone to take me out in my motability vehicle, which my electric carer controlled wheelchair clips in to. Initially my Mum would come with us until we get used to each other. I would like to go out for walks in my battery powered wheelchair, to go out to eat and to go to Hydrotherapy. I like being with fun, lively people.

Job Responsibility:

  • Take me out twice a week
  • Drive my Motability vehicle
  • Manage a battery powered wheelchair
  • Support on a Tuesday or Thursday preferably
  • Support sessions of 2-4 hours to suit activity
  • Take me out for walks
  • Go out to eat
  • Go to Hydrotherapy

Requirements:

  • Manage personal care
  • Work with non-verbal clients
  • Full UK driving license
  • Can drive a motability equipped car
  • Able to work with visual and sensory impairment
  • Able to manage a battery powered wheelchair
  • Preferably go in to a hydrotherapy pool with me
