Self Employed FTTH Engineer

• Network Build-outs: Install new telecom services by running overhead lines on utility poles, subducting protective ducts underground, all involving hands-on, physical work
• Customer installations: Visit our customers’ homes or businesses to set up internal cabling and make sure their new services are working perfectly
• Network Maintenance: Work with live network infrastructures ducts and poles
• Quality & Safety: Follow strict safety procedures, and ensure all equipment is safe to use. You’ll also help restore sites, leaving every location clean and safe for our customers
• Reporting & Admin: Use our systems to record your work and keep information up to date in a timely manner

• NRSWA SLG and PIA Accreditations are preferrable
• Must have experience with both overhead and underground PIA networks
• Additional accreditations such as A001, S8, SA051C, SA002, SA007, S7, N022, SA020, N037, and K008 are highly desirable
• Strong practical knowledge of telecom networks
• Proficiency with power tools
• Basic IT skills for using mobile job management apps
• Excellent communication skills
• A professional approach when dealing with customers, the public, and stakeholders
