Ability to analyze contract language and identify risks, opportunities, and negotiation leverage points

Represent or support the SVP in internal and external meetings when needed, ensuring continuity of communication and follow-up
Act as a backup point of contact for key client relationships when the SVP is unavailable or traveling
Coordinate site inspection itineraries for SVP and/or client(s) as needed
Lead or support hotel and venue contract negotiations, focusing on securing competitive rates, value-added concessions, and favorable contract terms for clients
Conduct detailed contract review and redlining for hotel agreements, group blocks, and event-related contracts, escalating complex issues to the SVP and/or client when necessary
Provide clear summaries of contract risks, key clauses, and negotiation opportunities for internal client stakeholders
Maintain strong working relationships with hotel sales contacts and Global Sales Office contacts across brands to facilitate effective negotiations and support as needed
Develop negotiation strategies informed by historical production, room block patterns, and client program needs
