We are recruiting self-employed advocates to provide independent and confidential advocacy on behalf of NYAS to children, young people and adults in a variety of settings across the Gwent region.
Job Responsibility:
Provide independent and confidential advocacy on behalf of NYAS to children, young people and adults in a variety of settings
Enable them to ensure their voices are heard within decision-making processes that affect their lives
Listen to what they want
Inform them of their rights to get their wishes and feelings heard
Requirements:
Significant experience of direct work with children, young people or adults in a related setting
Must live within the geographical area (Gwent region)
Legal right to work in the United Kingdom
Willingness to complete accredited Advocacy training
Willingness to complete annual safeguarding and compliance training
Subject to enhanced DBS check, references and a Digital Risk Assessment
