Job Description

We are seeking a professional and vigilant Security & Traffic Officer to join our hospital security & traffic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular patrols and maintaining a secure environment throughout the hospital premises. A key responsibility is managing traffic in the multi storey car parks and issuing Penalty Charge Notices to vehicles that park inconsiderately

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain a strong and visible security presence across the site
  • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
  • Assisting with evacuation procedures
  • Providing security related comms to members of public
  • Dealing with any queries and offering additional information
  • Offer an excellent level of customer service to ensure the smooth running of the daily procedures
  • Support other positions where necessary including stewarding, Traffic and Car Park teams
  • Managing traffic around site
  • Assisting with access control of car parks
  • Ticket Machine Maintenance

Requirements

  • SIA Door Supervisor badge
  • Traffic Management Training will be provided
  • DBS Certificate
  • Previous customer service experience
  • You must have a good level of verbal and written English
  • The ability to react calmly in high pressured situations
  • Good level of physical fitness to conduct patrols over large areas
