This is a varied, hands-on field role working across both residential and commercial sites. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality installations, servicing, programming, and system support. No two days are the same, and you'll be supported by a division that values collaboration, professional growth, and modern, high-end systems.

Job Responsibility

  • Installation, configuration, and app setup of modern wireless alarm systems (Ajax hubs, detectors, and integrations)
  • Installation, programming, and commissioning of SALTO and configuration/support for ICT Protégé GX and WX access control systems
  • Connecting alarms and access control with IP CCTV and IP intercom systems
  • Fault finding, diagnostics, system upgrades, and providing superior customer training and handover

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the electronic security industry
  • Specific hands-on expertise in SALTO and ICT Protégé systems
  • Strong IT networking knowledge, including IP and VLANs
  • A valid Ministry of Justice Private Security Personnel Badge & Certificate of Approval (COA)
  • NZ National Certificate in Electronic Security
  • Current Site Safe Passport and EWP certification for working at heights
  • Excellent customer communication skills
  • Tidy appearance

  • Ability to work seamlessly both independently and within a team
