The Technical Business Analyst serves as the business owner for physical security technology, ensuring they effectively support global security operations. This role partners with the Physical Security Technology staff to oversee project progress, align initiatives with strategic goals, and evaluate new technologies for onboarding. The focus is on translating business needs into actionable requirements, tracking delivery, and ensuring operational alignment.
Job Responsibility:
Assist the business owner with physical security technology, ensuring they meet operational needs and align with long-term strategy
Translate business requirements into detailed functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Support activity planning, backlog refinement, and release activities to keep projects on track and ensure a seamless transition to operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Physical Security Operations, IT, Procurement and other teams to ensure alignment and smooth delivery
Track project progress, manage risks and dependencies, and provide visibility through dashboards and reports
Support evaluation and onboarding of new physical security technologies, assessing business value, integration feasibility, and operational impact
Assist in testing and validation of delivered features to ensure they meet business requirements
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in business analysis, technical business analysis, or product ownership, preferably in physical security or related domains
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories
Experience evaluating and onboarding security technologies such as access control, VMS, PSIM, or emergency security systems
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience coordinating across business and technical teams
Knowledge of compliance and security standards relevant to physical security operations
