Randstad is currently working with an exciting client to find a Security Systems Administrator for an initial 2 month contract with potential of extension. Are you a delivery-focused security professional looking to make a tangible impact on an ISO certification program? We are seeking a hands-on Senior Security Administrator to join a high-performing team in Brisbane. This contract role is perfect for someone who thrives on designing and embedding practical vulnerability management and patching practices within a complex enterprise environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Review existing vulnerability scanning, triage, and patching practices across infrastructure and endpoints
  • Design and document repeatable vulnerability management processes aligned with ISO requirements
  • Establish clear prioritisation workflows, remediation ownership models, and escalation paths
  • Integrate vulnerability management and patching activities into sustainable business-as-usual operations
  • Produce auditable documentation, metrics, and evidence suitable for ISO certification reviews

Requirements

  • Proven experience contributing to vulnerability management or patching within an enterprise IT environment
  • Technical proficiency with AWS and Linux platforms
  • Strong understanding of information security controls and how patching supports audit requirements
  • Experience configuring or rationalising vulnerability scanning and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality operational documentation
  • You must be a Brisbane based candidate with unlimited working rights to be considered
