The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily security operations to ensure a safe and secure environment for all guests, team members, and assets of the Dellshire Resort. This position supports the Director of Security in supervising Security Officers, enforcing resort policies, monitoring incidents, and coordinating emergency response efforts while upholding the resort’s high standards of guest service and professionalism.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise and direct the daily activities of the Security team, including scheduling, patrol assignments, and incident response
Monitor resort property through patrols, CCTV systems, and key control to deter theft, vandalism, and unsafe behavior
Respond promptly to emergencies including medical, fire, and security incidents
coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed
Conduct investigations, prepare detailed incident reports, and maintain accurate documentation of all security-related activities
Assist in training, coaching, and developing Security Officers to ensure consistent performance and compliance with resort policies and procedures
Support enforcement of resort policies, ensuring respectful and effective handling of guest and team member issues
Conduct regular inspections of entrances, exits, and restricted areas to ensure proper access control and safety compliance
Serve as a first responder for alarms, disturbances, or accidents, maintaining composure and professionalism in all situations
Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and property protection goals are met
Participate in safety audits, fire drills, and emergency preparedness programs
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
college coursework in criminal justice, security management, or related field preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in security or law enforcement, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role preferred
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
Strong leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to manage high-stress situations with calm and professionalism
Proficient in report writing, incident documentation, and basic computer systems (Word, Excel, and security software)
