We are currently seeking a professional, reliable, and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team in Central London. Job Responsibility:
be the main point of contact during a designated shift for all security related enquiries and issues in the building
ensure that the security team are allocated duties at the shift start with relevant break periods and duty rotation
ensure the shift security team operates in accordance with the assignment instructions
ensure the shift security team provides a visible presence within the building, controlling access and patrolling with purpose
act as the first responder or first point of investigation in the event of an incident in the building
ensure that the control room is always operated by qualified and competent security operators. monitoring alarms and notifications from access control, CCTV and associated building management notifications
Conduct reactive CCTV monitoring and investigations as needed
play an integral role in any emergency, including evacuation, dealing with unsocial behaviour or first aid incidents
investigate matters of concern raised by the Landlord security team
monitor contractor adherence to safety and to building security policies
coach and develop the shift security team
schedule and assign specific duties to security officers and ensure they are carried out competently
work closely with the other Anabas team members on site in a one team approach to ensure seamless service to the client fostering a “See it, Own it, Fix it” mentality
ensure all problems or queries are dealt with in in a timely manner
work as part of a team and support the team and management to ensure a quality service is delivered to our client
take reasonable care of your own health and safety, and that of others, ensuring you comply with all Health & Safety procedures
work in line with the Equality & Diversity policy and report any incidents that are against the spirit of an inclusive work environment
complete Toolbox Talk and any other relevant trainings with team members as required
carry out all responsibilities using the Anabas values as he basis of your day-to-day actions
support all company policies, ensuring full compliance with the procedures that accompany these
Participate in the staff appraisal and development opportunities, one to one performance discussion and attend identified training to ensure continuous learning and improvement
Requirements:
Previous experience in a corporate security role (ideally in a front-facing environment)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
IT literacy is an essential element as will need to work on door access software and CCTV
The ability to remain calm under pressure and act decisively during incidents
A team-oriented approach and commitment to providing excellent service
Valid SIA licence (required)
