We are seeking a professional, proactive, and highly capable Security Supervisor to lead our on‑site security team and ensure the highest standards of safety, service, and compliance. Working on a large industrial site, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment, supporting daily operations, and upholding the values and expectations of both the client and Wilson James. Job Responsibility:
Lead, manage, and support Security Officers, ensuring professional conduct and performance
Oversee compliance with all client and Wilson James policies, procedures, and Health & Safety requirements
Act as the primary point of contact for daily operational security matters
Coordinate and deliver on‑site emergency response training and activities
Conduct coaching, training, welfare reviews, and scenario‑based assessments for the team
Manage investigations, disciplinary processes, and absence reviews
Ensure safe working conditions and respond to reports of accidents, faults, or safety concerns
Monitor site security operations including CCTV, access control, key control, and visitor management
Complete accurate incident reporting and maintain high standards of documentation
Carry out site patrols, including driving the client‑provided van, and respond to emergencies as required
Requirements:
Valid SIA Licence
First Aid at Work certificate
Excellent customer service skills with a professional and friendly approach
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including clear report writing
Ability to remain calm, confident, and effective under pressure or in emergencies
Basic IT skills, including the ability to use standard systems and reporting tools
High standard of personal presentation and professionalism
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining strong team performance
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Understanding of equality, diversity, and the needs of visitors and staff
