Job Description:

Casa Brera, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Milan is currently recruiting a Security Supervisor. This is a full-time position, 5 days a week with 2 days off. The ideal starting date is March. The hotel is located near the iconic Teatro alla Scala and is an authentic expression of Milan's spirit. The Security Supervisor ensures full compliance with safety and security policies, oversees external security patrols, leads emergency response, and manages key control systems.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure full compliance with safety and security policies for guests, associates, and suppliers
Oversee and coordinate external security patrol activities
Lead the response to incidents and emergencies
Manage key control and access systems to protect people and property
Work with external health and safety consultant (RSPP) to ensure compliance with DVR
Ensure application of property specific emergency procedures
Enforce safety and security policies
Identify and correct unsafe procedures or conditions
Supervise use of personal protective clothing (PPE)
Complete safety training and deliver training to hotel associates
Maintain communication with local authorities
Oversee operations and shift schedules of external Security/Patrol team
Ensure CCTV systems are operated in compliance
Ensure CCTV system HIK VISION is working properly
Ensure Security/Patrol team is vigilant
Ensure policies on property access are followed
Coordinate the emergency response team
Provide assistance to guests and employees in emergencies
Respond to accidents and determine if emergency aid is required
Notify appropriate individuals of incidents
Complete incident reports
Defuse guest or employee disturbances
Respond to domestic problems with guests
Resolve safety hazard situations
Handle business interruptions and complaints
Conduct follow-up investigations
Maintain confidentiality of reports/documents
Collect information related to incidents
Conduct interviews to obtain statements
Complete a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report
Assist in conducting safety inspections
Supervise key management systems procedures
Conduct key control audits
Ensure appropriate access rights are granted
Be accountable for key management tools (SAFLOK BY DORMAKABA, SIPASS BY SIEMENS)
Address guests' service needs
Actively listen and respond to guest questions
Provide assistance to individuals with disabilities
Welcome and acknowledge each guest
Assist other employees to ensure guest service

Requirements:

Experience in security&safety, ideally in the hospitality or luxury hospitality
English and Italian language knowledge
Knowledge of Italian safety&security legislation
Ability to localize international processes&procedures
Able to work with a variety of different software systems and applications
