The profile we are looking for is a Customer minded colleague, with a strong background in solution delivery, support, and operations. You will work in all phases of the life cycle including patching, upgrade, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform advanced triage and investigation of escalated security incidents from L2 and L3 analysts
  • Conduct threat hunting activities using SIEM, EDR, and network security tools
  • Correlate logs from multiple sources (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoints, cloud, email gateways)
  • Develop fine-tune detection rules and use cases in SIEM platforms
  • Analyze malware behavior and suspicious artifacts
  • Coordinate containment, eradication, and recovery actions during incidents
  • Review risky user behavior (impossible travel, abnormal downloads, privilege escalation)
  • Manage access controls, conditional access policies, and MFA enforcement
  • Security configuration reviews and hardening of cloud resources (VMs, storage, databases, Kubernetes, serverless)
  • Support Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools by investigating misconfigurations and policy violations
  • Conduct IAM reviews (RBAC, least privilege enforcement, access recertification)
  • Investigate suspicious cloud activities using audit logs (CloudTrail, Activity Logs, etc.)
  • Assist in vulnerability management across cloud workloads (scan validation, remediation tracking)
  • Able to investigate, debug and reproduce issues, provide fixes and workarounds, and verify changes to ensure continued operability of the software solution
  • Contribute to meeting the SLAs and KPIs as applicable for our customers
  • Handle calls/bridges for ongoing Issues and update all stakeholders on progress/analysis/resolution
  • Be part of our shift roaster to cover operational needs

Requirements

  • Degree in Software Engineering or similar
  • Solid Linux handling knowledge in Kubernetes environment
  • Experience in Cloud/SAAS Operational Security Management, AWS will be preferred
  • Experience in container technologies e.g. Docker/Kubernetes
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the IT security industry, preferably working in a SOC/NOC environment
  • Better understanding of SSL/TLS
  • Better understanding of Vulnerability assessment and Management
  • Better understanding of Public Key Infrastructure
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP and networking concepts
  • Better understanding of Certificate Management
  • Better understanding of Compliances and policy (PCI, CIS, NIST, ISO)
  • Scripting (e.g. Shell, Python, Ansible)
  • Experience with Security technologies (SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, HIPS, proxies, vulnerability scanners, AV, etc.)
