As a Security Sales Specialist, you will work within a virtual team of sales, technical, partner and consulting resources to enhance the team capabilities for extended detection and response (XDR), zero trust and cloud security as well as Microsoft Purview portfolio empowering our customers to protect, govern, and safeguard their sensitive data while also managing regulatory compliance requirements and maintaining customer & employee privacy. Being part of this team will allow you to strengthen both your consultative selling skills as well as your deep technical expertise across Microsoft and non-Microsoft cloud-based security & compliance solutions, architectures, programs, and technologies. You will make an impact by helping clients secure their organizations. This opportunity will allow you to accelerate your career growth, honing your solution sales and collaboration skills, and deepening your cloud expertise. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% work from home.

Job Responsibility

  • Scale Customer Engagements - Subject matter expert leading presentations, demonstrations, workshops, architecture design sessions, production ready pilots for the Microsoft solutions, with a focus on customer acquisition efforts at the top of the funnel and potentially new to our cloud technologies
  • Scale Through Partners - Orchestrating complex solutions with internal and external partners for multiple Microsoft online services and solutions
  • Build Strategy - Influences competitive strategy leveraging partner and internal teams
  • Acts as the voice of the customer by driving new feedback, blockers, insights, resource items across communities to support customer's business outcomes and opportunities to promote usage

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field AND 4+ years Security sales or pre-sales OR equivalent experience
  • OR equivalent experience
  • Fluency in Japanese language

Nice to have

  • One or more of the following certifications is a plus: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Security Certification SC-900, 200, 400, 500, Azure Certification AZ-900
  • Fluency in English
