Job Description

This is a senior operational leadership role at the heart of our service delivery model. Working alongside the Zonal Operations Manager, you will lead a team of Regional Support Managers across the North East, driving performance, building strong client relationships and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery across your region. This is a role for a confident, commercially minded leader who takes personal ownership of results and knows how to get the best from the people around them.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Regional Support Managers
  • Conduct regular regional performance reviews and implement improvement plans
  • Monitor service delivery and customer satisfaction against agreed SLAs and KPIs
  • Identify underperforming contracts and drive proactive improvement
  • Manage scheduling, recruitment, contracts, performance evaluations and disciplinaries
  • Drive employee engagement and build a high-performance regional culture
  • Lead succession planning to develop future talent within the team
  • Take full ownership of regional financial targets and performance reporting
  • Maintain financial accuracy and manage risk across the region
  • Build trusted client relationships that support retention and commercial growth
  • Develop and maintain assignment instructions and risk assessments
  • Ensure full health and safety compliance across all regional sites
  • Act as an ambassador for ASEL values and standards at all times

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within a sizeable security-based environment
  • Proven experience managing teams including recruitment, performance management and development
  • Strong background in commercial contract management within security or facilities management
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in project management and health and safety compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Results-oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Valid UK driving licence
