Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Project Coordinator. Allied Universal is seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Project Coordinator to ensure the safety and security of all parties involved in our events. With a focus on pro-active planning, risk management, and team leadership, the Security Project Coordinator will play a critical role in delivering seamless and secure events. The Security Project Coordinator will expect some travel as part of their role in supporting and participating in events.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate and oversee security planning for events at various locations, ensuring all safety protocols are tailored to the specific site and event type
Conduct and coordinate risk assessments and develop security plans, including crowd control, access points, emergency procedures, and communication strategies
Serve as a liaison between event attendees and the on-site event leadership team, ensuring clear communication and a seamless experience
Work closely with local law enforcement, emergency responders, and event staff to ensure seamless collaboration and response
Coordinate with and provide guidance to local management to facilitate and manage security staff, ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained
Work closely with the Account Manager to align security planning with overall event goals, ensuring seamless and secure experience for all attendees
Requirements:
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in military, law enforcement, or other protective service-related field
Crisis Management Certification and/or experience
Attention to detail
able to observe and identify security risks or issues before they escalate
Ability to work in a dynamic environment
manage varying event requirements, adjusting plans and deadlines as necessary
Strong leadership skills
able to coach, mentor, and guide a team of security personnel effectively
Nice to have:
First Aid and CPR Certification
Retired law enforcement or military
Emergency response experience working directly with law enforcement during events to handle any potential threats, accidents, or emergencies
Experience in event security coordination, security management, or related field
Experience leading a security team to ensure proper implementation of best practices and processes
