Job Responsibility:
Advise the client and account lead on all matters of security including the review and writing of the security policies and procedures
Understand the client's core business activities ensuring the security team is delivering the most effective security solution
Where incidents occur, ensure that deployed teams respond in accordance with associated policies and procedures, and that post incident reviews are conducted to limit repeat occurrence and strengthen understanding
Liaise with line manager and client stakeholder to ensure effective and open communication of all matters pertaining to the delivery of a professional security service
Ensure appropriate training (derived from both internal & external courses) are delivered to individual staff in accordance with their rank / responsibilities & identified training & development needs
Establish and manage a security team that is well turned out, motivated, well-informed, focused and clear about its role and objectives
To be the first line response for any/all incidents, fire, security and H&S and manage in accordance with specific related procedure
Requirements:
Highly developed interpersonal, literacy and numeracy skills
The ability to adapt rapidly to different account lead / client requirements
Proven management experience working in a high profile environment
The ability to demonstrate/achievement of exceptional customer service standards
A flair for problem solving and multitasking
Assertive and persuasive
Good IT skills and competent in the use of Google Suite, including a high degree of adoption of AI platforms
Hold a relevant management qualification e.g. ILM 3/5 (preferable) and proven experience in Security Management senior position
SIA License holder
Nice to have:
Desirable subject matter expertise in pharmaceutical industry or frontier technology
