Job Description

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Operations Center Officer to oversee a Corporate Building in the Chelsea Area of Manhattan. As a Security Operations Center Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter
  • Monitor closed circuit television systems and alarms
  • Monitor and operate facility computers systems regularly, as assigned
  • Handle security issues or emergency situations appropriately. Contact Emergency Services, such as EMT, Fire Dept., etc.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • New York State security guard license is required
  • Candidate should have at least one year of security experience
  • Ccure 900 program experience is required

Ensure access is regularly audited, sensitive spaces have clear ownership, and the physical environment supports rather than impedes the employee experience
  • Stand up emergency preparedness at scale. Build and certify Emergency Response Teams at every corporate location, publish and maintain Emergency Response Plans for all facilities, and establish severity levels, escalation protocols, and communications systems for rapid response. Build law enforcement and first responder relationships globally, and lead regular incident exercises and tabletop simulations
  • Build a threat assessment and workplace violence prevention program. Establish a structured capability for threat intake, behavioral assessment, and case management to protect employees and enable early intervention. Define policies, cross-functional escalation pathways, and response protocols that span all brands and jurisdictions. Partner with other Global Safety and Security functions, as well as HR, Legal, and business leaders, to build a program that is rigorous, jurisdiction-aware, and locally calibrated across a globally diverse workforce
