The Security Officer is a key individual in achieving the goals and quality standards of the Security Department. The Security Officer must follow and perform all the duties and standards in the department. The mission for the Security Department is: “protect the life and safety of our guests and employees, protect physical assets and property, ensure security standards are met and maintained and provide service to guests and employees”.

Requirements
Performing security patrol and duties on a day-to-day basis
Working with Security Supervisor, Assistant Manager Safety & Loss Prevention and Director of Safety & Loss Prevention
Having a working knowledge of all security P&Ps and all equipment and databases
Conducting himself/herself in a professional manner
Adhering to established standards, house rules, fire regulations and department procedures
Wearing issued uniform and ensuring neat appearance
Reporting to work on time, notifying supervisor if unable to attend
Patrolling public areas, guest corridors, back of house, perimeter, car park, pool
Escorting guests
Controlling staff entrance and conducting baggage checks
Ensuring health and safety and fire regulations
Checking security of storerooms and offices
Performing baggage delivery and pickup
Documenting crimes/incidents, filing theft/loss/damage reports and security logs
Liaising with Director of Safety and Security
Accepting and securing lost property
Being familiar with emergency response and evacuation procedures, including fire panel
Monitoring and controlling issue of hotel master keys
Opening/repairing in-room safes
Receiving deliveries of goods
Administering emergency first aid
Opening staff housing and conducting housing checks
Making senior management aware of incidents
Being contact person for emergency services
Complying with Four Seasons' Work Rules and Standards of Conduct
Working harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors
Being fully familiar with Four Seasons Health & Safety program Lead with Care
